The title of report KD 718 has been changed. The new title is: “Ideas about a 16-pole, 28-pole, 32-pole or 40-pole, 3-phase permanent magnet generator using the housing and winding of a 4-pole asynchronous motor”. A new chapter 11 has been added. The title of this chapter is: “Use of a 4-pole motor frame size 132 and a 28-pole original armature”. An important advantage of this option is that the winding, the shaft and the armature are used. The magnets of the north poles are glued in inclined grooves which are made in the original armature. Therefore this is the cheapest way to transfer an asynchronous motor into a PM-generator.
